My first commission

I was asked by a relative to make a coin purse using the cute blue and white duck fabric. I decided to make a more advanced on than my pervious attempt that was for myself as I found the button tricky to keep opening and closing. So I decided to fit a zip instead , I used a hand stitch to fit it. I am still not brave enough to use my machine to sew to a zip yet.

    I used the bias binding version to make my first dress and found it pretty easy to follow and I am usually hopeless with patterns. Have a look and see what you think. I'm happy to answer any questions as you go along if that helps? x
